@Aldo2 awww man sorry to hear that

Feelin good rn

@alyx

@alyx that's just a loud video in general lol

internet was down for like 6 hours, finally looked up on my phone the outage map and it said there wasn't a problem. looked up at my PC and it was connected to the internet again lol.

@astatine @Awoo other ones don't either, you just have to toggle the option for it.

for me personally it's soapbox>mastodon>pleroma>misskey>bloat. i really like how customizable pleroma is on a per-user basis but it's kind of clunky imo. i like how simple soapbox and mastodon are. almost like comparing twitter's UI to facebook's (although facebook's is far worse than pleroma's).

@sjw a gameliberty link that redirects to poast? weird

@sjw not your water pipes, your ac pipes. Idk what the difference is but at every rented property I've been to they have said not to set the temp below 65 :P it'll freeze it up and put it out of commission until it gets warm again which, especially in the winter, can be difficult to deal with. Maybe it's all big energy propaganda.

@Melon dental school. Students do your dental work but they have been doing it for 3-4 years and have to run all their work by an actual dentist. They're usually a lot more careful because of it.

Smart devices being retarded is both frustrating and comforting.

@hideki okay I gotta admit, AI copying artist signatures is a bad thing.

I also don't think that websites made for sharing art should allow fully AI generated stuff

@Corfiot @LukeAlmighty that's the thing that gives me some comfort, even if I'm only playing in 1080p or whatever I know that means my hardware is gonna last a bit longer. Gpu and CPU are both meant for overclocking but I don't mess with that either so I've got a pretty good amount of overhead.

@hideki yeah there is definitely a use case for that. Most of the time I'm listening to music on my phone it's through shitty audio quality bone conductive headphones. But sometimes I listen with my proper cans and I definitely always do that at home.

Dude my dental plan went from $240 a year to $20 a year. Covers all the same stuff. Based.

@hideki my music service is upgrading me to hi-fi so I had to get a bigger SD card to fit everything on lol

@LukeAlmighty it's okay I got a 2080ti and proceeded to play half life and portal 2

@Coyote from what I can tell that's just people staying together for longer. Which is great, but I don't know anyone that's been divorced within a year of them getting married.

It would be better to get divorced sooner, all things considered.

Here are some other stats on divorce, the number is nearly 50% (don't wanna do math right now): https://www.survivedivorce.com/how-many-marriages-end-in-divorce
