@PraxisOfEvil This "turned violent" by throwing bracelets in the middle of the road but the literal nigger protests where they were burning towns down were still called peaceful NEVER LET THEM FORGET IT
@graf Youth will rebel against the establishment, and our establishment is preoccupied with poopsex, you can see where this is going
@Rhodesian_YuKari I feel bad for some of them because their BPD mothers and single 30 year old teachers have been beaming this fag shit into their brains their whole lives, but it's better to experience pushback for this when you're young I guess, hopefully it shocks some of them out of it

@matrix I may not fill her pussy but I can fill the void her dad left in her life

wind waker has the best OST of any zelda game, maybe any game period. i think the only games that beat it out for me are the silent hill games and the chrono games. the best part about the wind waker OST is the dynamic nature of it and how often it uses reprise.

@matana @teratology ngs has a more optional grind. There is, I'd say, a healthy amount of it to reach max level, but nearly everything after that is just trying to get your weapon a smidge better. But the gameplay is smooth as fuck, so you can just flick on twitch VODs or whatever else and grind for a bit. Whereas with a lot of other MMOs, the "grind" consists of walking from place to place carrying materials everywhere for various NPCs to get up your woodworking skill level or some shit. NGS feels a lot more like a game than just a list of chores with a big raid at the end.

just saw someone say this and it sums up my thoughts on MMOs completely.

"New Genesis sucks but is still better than actual MMOs. Generic grinding while watching jewtoob > 100+ hours of fetch quests with no gameplay to unlock the actual game."

@icedquinn cube maps are in general an old technique, but i like them so much more, especially when they're dynamic like they are here. SSR has too many very noticeable flaws.

Starfield uses cube maps instead of screen space reflections, thank you god howard

@LukeAlmighty I'm not a huge fan, I'd rather just have balanced matchmaking based on it when it comes to teams. I actually like call of duty's approach where your rank increases the more you play and then teams get balanced based on playtime. If they had a SECRET MMR system that helped balance it further that would be great. More often than not, you get incredibly balanced teams where 1 guy on each team has like 20+ kills and one guy has 20+ deaths and everyone else is somewhere in between.

I think it is good for something like smash though, where it's just 1v1. It does suck to go into the game and just get so throttled by someone that you don't even get any experience, so it's really hard to get better. How am I going to learn to play the game better if I'm getting 4 stocked by a fucking game and watch?

Games definitely need to have unranked modes if they're going for having a ranked system, though. That's for sure. It's just that not EVERY SINGLE GAME needs to have ranked.

@matana @LukeAlmighty the only frame data I know is that melee fox and falco's reflector comes out on frame 1 and has invulnerability for that 1 frame. I don't even know how long the hit box lasts. People will ask "where is such and such hitbox for this move" and I'll always be like, idk man it's like in his armpit when the sword is halfway through the swing or something.

@matrix if by character you mean a lifetime of repression then yes
